In this episode Millie chats with the renowned Dr. Cynthia Bulik - Distinguished Professor of Eating Disorders and Founding Director of the UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders; Professor of Nutrition at the Gillings School of Global Public Health and Associate Director at the UNC Center for Psychiatric Genomics. They discuss the biology behind eating disorders and the importance of the Eating Disorders Genetic Initiative (EDGI) - the world’s largest study into the genetics behind eating disorders.
